Gloucestershire Homes and Communities Partnership (GHCP) brings together seven major housing organisations across the county that collectively own and manage over 33,500 affordable and shared ownership homes, which improve life chances, support aspiration and social mobility. We also manage around 5,700 sheltered housing homes, providing highly-valued services to older and vulnerable residents.
GHCP members are independent organisations with a set of unified objectives and values. The group comprises Cheltenham Borough Homes, Gloucester City Homes, GreenSquare, Merlin, Severn Vale Housing, Stroud District Council, and Two Rivers Housing.
By working in partnership, we are able to influence both national and local housing policy, as well as support key areas on welfare, health, and wellbeing.
Together with our key partners and strategic influencers, we believe that we can make a significant contribution throughout Gloucestershire to meet key targets on housing need both now and in the future. We will provide modern, safe, and warm homes; help to tackle homelessness; and better support health, social care, and older people’s services. We will create employment opportunities either directly or through our local supply chains.
We have the potential to drive economic and community growth and have the power to stimulate the construction industry through our significant investments, with a proven ability to attract inward investment.
